The United States continues to surge as a growth market for 54 with the announcement of a new partnership with the exclusive family-owned Bunker Hill Farms resort, located west of Chicago.
A 450-acre private hideaway, this stunning Midwest destination is tucked away in a secluded paradise of lakes, prairies and an 18-hole golf course. Officially boasting just one member, Founder and CEO Mike Domek and his family own the site and course, which currently offers exclusive use to its idyllic fairways and greens, one single group at a time.
54 will support Bunker Hill Farms with sales in 2025, providing a view to widening the client base and leveraging the extraordinary array of facilities and activities on site. In addition to the golf course, Bunker Hill Farms features luxury accommodations, shooting pavilion, unique treetop Silo spa, fishing, ATV tours and so much more.
But the true beauty of this luxury resort lies within the purpose of its mission…all proceeds are granted to its charitable counterpart, Bunker Hill Charities. The nonprofit has raised over $3 million since 2013 through property stays and signature events such as Rockin’ The Hill, an annual invitation-only concert whose acts have included Steve Tyler, Old Dominion, REO Speedwagon, Jake Owen and a tough mud run called Muddy Bunker.
A favorite among celebrities, musicians, professional athletes and golf enthusiasts alike, Bunker Hill Farms becomes the second privately owned luxury North American course to join the 54 stable in a month after The Institute Golf Club in California partnered with 54 across a range of agronomy, operational efficiency and membership experience services.
Founder and CEO Mike Domek, who created the site for his family and friends after selling his business TicketsNow.com to Ticketmaster in 2008, said the agreement with 54 marked a new chapter in the story of the remarkable venue. “This is a golf course and resort unlike any other, set in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. The time was right to start thinking about more guests enjoying what we have to offer here. It’s a special place.”
54 CEO Ed Edwards said: “We work with a number of the world’s leading courses and this unique venue must rank highly among them due to its setting, vibe and sheer beauty. Joining hot on the heels of The Institute Club, it’s clear to see there’s demand for the kind of end-to-end services our experience has shown we can provide to first-class venues like this.”
54 has enjoyed exponential growth across its strategic advisory, asset optimisation, and engagement and activation divisions over the past 12 months, and works with a growing stable of leading sports clubs, brands, rightsholders, investors, governments, and governing bodies.
