England Golf and 54 will continue to unite in driving innovative solutions in golf, following agreement of a new three-year partnership.
The arrangement involves enhanced terms, with 54 continuing to connect with dedicated players of all abilities and providing direct support to the country’s next generation of elite golfers as an ‘Official Partner’.
Under this collaboration, England Golf and 54 will engage across a broad range of initiatives and opportunities, while seeking to bring mutual benefit for both organisations from across their extensive respective networks in the sport. 54 will also maintain its sponsorship of the prestigious England Golf Awards, as well as several of England’s historic elite amateur championships.
Since 2021, England Golf has enjoyed a strong partnership with 54, an agency with a rich legacy in golf, offering expertise spanning strategic consultancy, operations, commercial development, event management, content creation, and marketing.
54 has supported England Golf’s key marketing initiatives, including playing an instrumental role in the brand development and growth of iGolf, winner of the Sport Innovation Award at the 2024 Sports Business Awards. It has been active across Respect in Golf, Get into Golf Rookies and Girls Golf Rocks, while also supporting the governing body with partnership procurement to generate revenue to reinvest into the wider game.
Jeremy Tomlinson, England Golf CEO, said: “54 has provided tremendous support over the past three years and we are very much looking forward to continuing our work with them in successfully delivering England Golf strategic objectives.
“England Golf partners are carefully selected to ensure they enhance the support and guidance we can offer to golfers and clubs, likewise the key role of how we promote golf to new audiences.
“By partnering with 54, we will continue to improve our communications in passionately presenting our sport throughout England, welcoming more people to golf and showcasing its safe, sustainable, inclusive and inspirational credentials.”
Ed Edwards, 54 CEO, said: “We are extremely proud to work with England Golf, one of the most forward-thinking governing bodies we have in the sport today, on a number of innovative projects. Our organisations are closely aligned in our desire to develop new, impactful solutions which raise the profile of the sport and support its growth.
“We’re excited at the prospect of what we can achieve together over the course of this long-term agreement, helping to make golf more relevant and appealing to more people than ever before.”
