The E1 Series tasked Behind The Volt with delivering a high-end event experience in the iconic yet challenging location of Puerto Banús marina in Marbella. The challenge was multi-dimensional: create premium, visually stunning event environments while working within strict budget constraints, managing site-specific logistical hurdles, and contending with the intense heat of a Mediterranean summer. VIP and public areas both required tailored experiences, with seamless integration between technical infrastructure and guest comfort. Access limitations at the busy marina added complexity, demanding precision planning and adaptive problem-solving.

Reliable audiovisual delivery, power, and connectivity were critical to support both live event production and fan engagement. The client’s expectation was clear: produce a flawless, high-end event environment that aligned with the prestige of the E1 Series while navigating the constraints of budget, climate, and location.

Behind The Volt approached the project with technical rigor and creative problem-solving. We designed premium yet cost-efficient event structures that balanced aesthetics with budget, ensuring a high-end look without compromising functionality. To address the climate challenge, structures and AV installations were engineered to withstand high temperatures, ensuring durability for equipment and comfort for guests and crew. Careful site mapping and logistics planning allowed us to navigate the marina’s access challenges, ensuring efficient build and de-rig without disrupting the surrounding environment. We provided full technical oversight, covering power distribution, audiovisual integration, and IT infrastructure. This included the installation of large LED screens, robust connectivity solutions, and seamless AV delivery across VIP and public areas. Every element was designed to create a cohesive experience for guests while meeting the operational demands of the E1 Series.
